Running into error messages while you’re trying to sign in with SSO? Read on to find out what’s going on, and how you can resolve it.
Before you do anything, make sure that you’re on the SSO login screen, not the main login screen. To enter the SSO login screen, tap the Continue with SSO button, found on the main login screen.
Please note that these instructions work for both Cardata Cloud and the app.
Please enter a valid email address.
You’ve typed something into the email address text box, but whatever it is, it isn’t considered an email. Make sure that the work address you entered is formatted correctly.
This email isn’t recognized by our system. Please try again. If your company is not SSO-authorized, press the back button and continue through the main login screen.
This message indicates that the email you entered cannot be used to log in with SSO. If you’re seeing this message, do this:
- Make sure the email you entered is your work email. Only the work email that was provided to you by your employer will allow you to log in using SSO.
- If your work email doesn’t work, your company likely does not allow SSO login. This means that no driver employed by your company can log in using SSO. Go back to the main login screen and log in using your username and password. Where do I find my username?
If you believe your company has enabled SSO but you cannot sign in, contact our support team at support@cardata.co.
You may encounter the following prompt:
WorkOS is an identity platform that enables enterprise features like Single Sign-On (SSO) through APIs and tools for secure identity management and compliance.
It serves as a secure bridge between Cardata Mobile and your organization’s identity provider (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, OneLogin), using SAML 2.0, OIDC, or OAuth2 protocols.
WorkOS securely manages authentication redirects users never share credentials with WorkOS or Cardata. Once verified, it returns standardized user information and access tokens to our backend.
In short, users log in via their company’s SSO, and WorkOS passes the verified identity to Cardata, ensuring passwords are never seen or stored.
Your account is not SSO-authorized. Press the back button and continue through the main login screen.
