Why your device doesn’t support automatic trip tracking

Some iPads, especially older models, don’t include the motion sensors required for automatic trip start and end detection. Our app relies on this motion data to know when you're driving - without it, trips won’t be captured unless started and ended manually.

What this means for you:

• Automatic tracking will not work on your current device.
• You must manually start and end each trip to ensure your mileage is recorded.
• If you forget to do this, your trips will not be logged, and you may not receive reimbursement.

What you can do:

• Always tap “Start Trip” when you begin driving.
• Tap “End Trip” as soon as your trip is complete.
• Consider switching to a mobile device (such as an iPhone or a supported iPad model) with motion sensors if you prefer auto-tracking.
